Flying Away-

"What type of wings do fairy's get when they die?"

It's hard to believe how fast life can slip away from people and how little anything else matters when it does. I always meant to finish this piece but I never got around to it. However due to recent circumstances I felt like it was in order. This is by far one of my favorite sketches so I wanted to make sure I paid attention when coloring it. Inking took hours even though I nearly ended up deleting it all. After looking at a few reference's I ended up using purples instead of browns for shading. Textures for the hair and the angel wings were made with pencil however everything else is computerized. This is my first time erasing my line art in places, especially the dress (which once had black lines on every shadow) All in all it took a lot of time and effort but I think it was worth it.
